Sarah Longoria is an HR executive with more than 20 years of experience leading HR across a range of companies from start-ups to billion-dollar global businesses in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical technology. Most recently, Sarah was Chief HR and Compliance Officer for Exicure, a publicly traded biotech company, where she built the HR function, reshaped company culture and operations, and ultimately led a restructuring program based on a change in control.
Prior to Exicure, Sarah led HR for Assertio, a publicly traded pharmaceutical company, and spent 18 years at Abbott, a Fortune 100 healthcare company. While at Abbott, she held roles of increasing responsibility, including Head of Human Resources for 3 global divisions within the diagnostics segment. Sarah led the HR integration of one of the largest acquisitions in the history of Abbott and held additional worldwide HR leadership positions for other operating businesses.
