Lori Jester joined COUR in 2023 as VP Manufacturing and Supply Chain, where she is responsible for Manufacturing strategy and execution as well as developing and leading the Engineering and Supply Chain functions.
Lori brings over twenty years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain. Before COUR, she held several roles in Supply Chain at Novartis Gene Therapies (formerly AveXis, Inc.), from 2017 to 2021, most notably serving as the Vice President of Global Supply Chain. After her time at Novartis Gene Therapies, she moved to Jaguar Gene Therapies as the Senior Director of Quality. Lori’s journey in the pharmaceutical sector began at Hospira Inc., where she started as a Six Sigma Quality Engineer, held multiple roles of increased responsibility in Quality Assurance and Operations before the role of Director of Operational Excellence and Interim Director of Quality Investigations. Her career in manufacturing started at Philips Lighting Co, where she worked from 2002 to 2007 as an Industrial Engineer and Production Team Supervisor.
Lori earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University and an MBA from Kansas Wesleyan University.
