Stan Russell joined COUR in 2024 as VP, Quality, where he oversees the quality control and quality assurance functions. Stan is a 35+ year life sciences veteran with experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and IT. He has worked on advanced formulations, technologies, and therapeutic areas from discovery through commercial production, playing critical roles in the submission, approval, and launch of therapies, diagnostics, and nutritionals. Stan’s career progression includes individual contributor roles at Abbott Laboratories and management to executive positions at Automated Systems, Baxter/Baxalta/Shire, Alexion, Sebela Pharmaceuticals, and TCR2 Therapeutics. He comes to COUR having most recently served as Head of Quality for both March Biosciences and Sebela Women’s Health, Inc. Stan holds both a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from Northwestern University.
